What is the name of the classical song in Immortal Technique's Dancing with the devil - vender - 01-13-2011 05:59 AM
There is a classical song that runs throughout this song (Dancing with the Devil by Immortal Technique) and I was wondering if anyone knew the name of it, or the composer? Thank you!

Though, this is also on youtube. And is listed in this thread as the sample used.
The Love Story wiki page mentions Francis Lai as the composser/performer of the track. The wiki page of the song mentions that it was sampled by Tech. Henry Mancini's wiki page mentions a track called "Love Story", under the section "Hit Singles", from 1971, a year after the movie. I don't really know what's going on here....

Yeah, he's asking what was the sample used in Dance with the Devil, which is Love Story. The song also samples Survival of the Fittest by Mobb Deep.

^For real? They flipped the sample around there a bit, or used a different part of the track. One of my favorite beats of all time, for sure.

Which one? The Mobb Deep or the Love Story sample? For Mobb Deep they just sampled Prodigy's voice saying "I'm falling and I can't turn back."
