also tell them u like learning, because you will have to learn. working as a team unquestioning would also be important.

Bro not to discourage you but I don't think being a firefighter is any less stressful than being a cop.

As for advice on what to say... just talk about how you'd love being part of a team like OTF said, you want to be part of your community, helping people, etc. Good luck dude =)

Usually they work a 24 hour shift then get 24 hours off, then rotate back on and repeat. Though It probably differs station by station, state by state. I know I have heard of them working a 24 hour shift and getting 48 hours off instead of just 24 hours. I did my job shadow for my senior graduation project at a fire station. They had a pretty nice living quarters set up. Big ass TV in the living room area and a bunch of recliners and shit. Nice Kitchen too.
