No but srsly... it's really hard to see a dude like Canibus, the dude who did 2000 B.C. & Rip The Jacker fuck up like that, it's tough to see a dude, even though questionable at times, fucking up like that and erasing his whole legacy. No matter what, this is a sad day for hip hop to see a dude crumble like that, & to be honest, I'm upset and saddened about how this went, I can't stop feeling bad for Canibus.

For real though, fuck Canibus. This is a good wake up call to hip hop legends and amateurs alike. I believe you said it in Mario's 16 Bars of Truth thread? Being humble takes you a far way. Canibus thought he could stumble his way through this battle cause he's always thought he was above not only his competition but his audience. He got murdered in one round and he knew it so he started choking up. This cocky mother fucker was in a cypher with DMX, Mos Def and Pun and stopped the fucking cypher to say YO I GOT THE RIGHT TO ANCHOR, then had the nerve to drop his comparatively bullshit verse after Punisher fucking MURDERED it. This is a result of artists thinking their reputation and skill gives them a right to disrespect their art and their audiences, not to mention the people who worked their asses off to put this event together. I got nooo compassion for this bullshit. Let this be a lesson to the next "legend" who thinks they can step out of their expertise without respecting the legends of parallel forums like Dizaster.

For the record, in that cypher no one killed anything because they just spit some tired ass rhymes we all heard before. Canibus did stand out as a twat though.

First, I'll give Canibus credit he's written some great bars in his time but guess what, so have hundreds of other people many of which don't get recognition. Second, I've upgraded to an abandoned car until the police come looking for the body that was inside of it, the i.d said Germaine Williams?
