Rakim was the first to use complicated ryme flow and back in the late 80s man he was the shit! Tracks like follow the leader and the ledge were amazing. For what he did for hip hop he deserves top spot. peace

I didnt tell him to change it lol, of course it's his opinion. He's entitled to it. I was just suggesting his list differed slightly from my own. Personally, i wouldn't put Rakim as my #1. It's Tech or nothing. He's just unbelievable on the mic, and he represents hip hop off the mic in many ways as well.
