sup people!
hi every one, i actually found IT do you tube searches for "industrial revolution" so its pretty obvious which song caught me.

as far as my self, born in deep white poverty in rural south.
was adopted by immigrant jews, refugees from ww2
my big brother is Colombian coming from far worse poverty.

and so i grew up in nyc (harlem actually) as a good jewish white kid, but thanks to my brother i got to see just how deep racism is in our culture.(and most unfortunately in my family)

but more or less i bought all the wonderful fairy tales of amerika.
any way i got lucky and after high school i was given an opportunity to study in israel, and so i went...
i got there the week before 9-11 and at the start of the second intifada.
unfortunately i did not see reality at first.
its a very powerful thing to have a "place" and "people" and its seductions are many and deep. so for t he first year i was a good nationalist zionist.

and then i began having a dream about a sucide bomber it would be the same every time i was standing in my school all burnt out and inside the building is a small boy crying and out side are my freinds and i go to the kid and hug me tight and the explodes and its like when you are on the beach and the waves are going out and the sand dissolves under you feet.

all the while i have this totally unreal experience of this affluent, accepting, and peaceful world, at the center of a continuously escalating cycle violence.
and so i withdrew from my social life and start smokin instead of drinking.
i would watch Apache helicopters at night from my roof shooting helfire missiles at Ramalah, and during the day i would go to this little village just outside jerusalem, the most beautiful place i ever been the house buildt in to the cliffs with cave stream feeding a central pool, but no one lived there so any one could just squat in them(alot of israel hippies would frequent the place)
any way i decide to find out about this place, and then it all fell apart.
every road every town every city built on the ruins of a people, who i was being told were my enemies.
but more important was the realization that you could have a genocidal war and maintain an affluent wealthy population. that was the real shock growing up with ww2 and cold war where war was just pure devistation.
not the deliberate placing of one people on top of another.

so any way long story short i came back to the usa went to college droped out after first semester and have been educating my self ever since.
as far as politics im non aligned at the moment.
having been on and off with the international socialist organization , communist party, all the way to libertarians.

but primarily im a pacifist, because when i read the what goes on every day something swells inside that i can only describe as a biological urge to violence. which is why i need "aggressive" lyrics and such just to know im not insane.
