Humanity ---

Its not the question of whether Humanity has grown, or changed
The question remains, why have we not let humanity grow

Quite simple if you look at it in a different perspective

See... everything influences another no? Therefore the growth of humanity is limited to those in which can influence others the most....
Lets go into Government

Country X - Population 1 million
Country Y - Population 1 million

Country X wants control over country Y... Country X limits the growth of its own people so it can stay in control.. and so does Country Y -- Now its country X vs. Y <- war

The government of Country X is 20 people, Country Y is 20
So now remove the 20+20 of the government from the actual population, you got 1, 999, 960 people in the grey area -- LOTS!
These people are restricted by the actions of X and Y... by the needs/ wants of X & Y
These people are not allowed to grow, they are controlled... they are used as a benefit to X & Y... in other words, they are now machines / soldiers to provide resources in which X & Y can use to do what they very well want to do...

Now if the population of the world is 2 million...
Then 99% of the worlds population are rendered USELESS
If its 3 million
66.6% are rendered USELESS

Now plug that in, into what we have now

Humanity = a bunch of useless people.. where growth is limited... where wisdom is frowned upon... where machinery is the trend and the idea is to walk a path... pick berries on your way while your walking.. and at the end of the path... there is a ditch... but before the ditch.. a spot to throw your berries
you throw your berries and fall in the ditch bye bye

Resources saved and used by those who control / manipulate your life... while you still fall in the ditch anyway

Does that make any sense? heh thats humanity for ya
So if we don't evolve.. if we don't learn... its because we can't.. a natural order / process & progress is held back and stopped for benefit of some people
More fuel to the fire right? fuel to the fire of "oh my gov't = bad".. nah its more than that
If it is how it is that i explain... if it wasn't --- then world hunger wouldn't be a issue... we'd be living on mars let alone looking at pictures... etc. etc.

the first part of AMS's post is what ive been trying to explain, and you have got many of the reasons we cannot learn/evlove, because the only thing we learned is control, the rest is a histroy of countless and pointless events of some one or some group of people trying to take over and gain control
that is the only thing we have learned, and we stopped from there.

that is also why i said, "we dont learn, we conform to what someone else says" just i spoke in a more difficult perspective

I can't speak for others, or chino
But Human Growth is our interactions with one another, our involvement... Look at our designs... We collect and gather to become 1 .. Its not like every single person has a home in any single part of the world.. no! we gather, we have cities, we have communities.. we, in other words, work together

So the population of earth, all these people as a whole = humanity

Now... you're born, you don't know how to walk... in a year or two you LEARN how to walk, and you use it
That is in some way, "human growth" though human refers to more than one.. so call it "individual growth"... you have learned something new, and are now applying it in life

Back in the day, humans were isolated in terms of information / technology... and therefore information was less. wisdom was less (though one could argue -- I would argue, as its a very dangerous thing to say.. but i won't muddy this right now)

I think the general topic of this thread is Wisdom as a whole...
The question is, with all the information provided to us, why aren't we wiser than we were before? Why aren't we, as said - "growing"... you might say, Bullshit! We ARE growing.. "look at all the shit we have.." -- i disagree like chino i think disagrees... what we are doing now is ADAPTING
We are ADAPTING to the technology around us...
Its as if we're the same baby... but instead of walking and learning to walk.. and using that in life.. we found crutches at first, then we found wheels, then a wheel chair.. (found / made.. no difference -- the thought.. the coordination of walking isn't there...)
Take that in the lightest sense possible as it'll probably confuse you
But i hope that makes it clear in some way...

I don't think thats the question presented here in the first place HOWEVER that, personally i can't answer just yet as i have not really thought about it -- and i'm not a person to talk out my ass lol

Population controlled... -- remember country X & Y? If people were wiser .. if they learned and had "GROWTH".. then they can't be used / manipulated / controlled... and therefore being "wise" is something thats almost like its frowned upon.. if you're wise, then your going against shit.. and thats not wanted right?

If the machinery question was pointed at me, then I don't mean it as a form of actual machines / robots... i'm talking monotonous / routine / the removal of thought from our actions etc.

Now if you were to play devils advocate, as i just did for half a second glancing a few sentences up... first question you'd ask, is "Who the fuck is 'they'"
I won't make this a huge conspiracy theory, but ultimately -- they = those with power
who has power? Leaders...
Who is the biggest leader? The leader of a nation... why? Because he/she has all these people - a whole population under it
Now i'm not saying they purposely... design something to CONTROL this said population... though that could and might possibly be the case.. but in order to stay in power... subconsciously - actions are taken in order to stay in power ** a butterfly effect isolated in a region.. for the good of said leader** ... in order to control and benefit from their population and to expand - the greed for more.. and etc.

This thread is so unorganized and I'm not going to try to read through all this. At least today anyways. So I'm going to chime in about the subject. I don't know if this will be ignored or praised or what, but doesnt matter.

Life is a bitch. She is cold. She is deadly. She is tempting. If life were a woman, it would be the promiscuous woman hell bent on ruining a man for the rest of the time he has on earth. Now not to be blasphemous or anything, but here is my reasoning. Rarely in life do you get what you want. Also the people in your life will tempt you to do things you shouldn't ultimately messing up your persona for as long as you are breathing. Take for example a female. A female will make any male do anything and everything to either be with her please her or get payback on her. Thus ultimately this is what life is. That's all we do in our life time. Please, Displease, Missions & plots to obtain certain things.

Life itself is too complicated. To some it has no meaning. To some it means everything. But whatever the cause life will fuck you over momentarily, permanently, temporary. There is so much that can mess up someone on a good track. But I guess that's why they say no man is without sin. All we can do is life it to the best of our abilities and cope with life's PMSing times. Also be thankful for what you have thank your higher power for what that higher power gave you because trust me, it can be 1000 times worse.
