This isn't about who won, I'm just posting the tracks dedicated to diss the other emcee in the correct timeline. This feud had amazing diss tracks. Though you are welcome to comment on the feud.

2nd Round KO and The ripper strikes back are the two best disses they each made. LL ended what potential mainstream success Canibus could have had though.

True, I also feel through his carreer, Canibus have grown more inconsistent and gone on some weird ass metaphor kind of thing. His verse on 4, 3, 2, 1 was gold, so was the other rappers except Master P :/

btw, The Ripper Strikes Back was crazy ill, better than Second Round KO... though Rip The Jacker kinda made it an even beef.

lol @ the comments for the Ripper Strikes Back. Someone said Bolic is an example of an intellectual rapper. Oh boy, haven't laughed that hard in a while. Was some canibus fan as well. xD

I've read some break downs of this battle but it always seems the only people who bother are canibus fans so its always heavily biased.

I remember one time i was reading one of these break downs and the guy didn't really give LL any props for any lines and even said that this line:

"Ask canibus! He ain't understanding this because 99% of his fans don't exist!", didn't make any sense what so ever and was childish. Uuuhh, what? Now I don't know if this guy was retarded or just drinks bleach with his breakfast, but that is actually a pretty good line. Unlike Bis' line were he basically put down woman to diss LL, LL was able to put Bis' down without doing it to anyone else and I must say I rather have 99% of my fans wearing high heels rather than not having 99% of them at all. For those that don't know what Bis line I speak of it is this line:

"Mad at me cause I kick that shit real niggaz feel, while 99% of your fans wear high heels". Which is a good line as well when realizing that even if its basically sexist, that is just a normal thing you see in hip hop dissing, to make the other guy look like a bitch. And saying 99% of someone's fans are either women or cross dressers, is pretty good at doing that exact thing.

Now the problem I have with Bis' line when comparing them both is that he starts the line talking about how his music is for real niggaz and shit then ends the line basically saying LL's music is for women. So he is saying women can't be real or real fans or that having so many woman fans isn't real. Depending how you look at the line you could even assume he actually meant gay fans, though that's probably not what he meant because, well, we all know LL has a big following made out of women.

But again in dissing it tends to be "no holds barred", and especially back at that time it was just one of many ways to belittle your opponent, and still is.

Anyways, my point is that, saying 99% of the fans someone claims to have, do not really exist, is just as good if not better. I think its better, but maybe that's just me.

I don't really care for either rapper. In fact I never even bothered to download any of LL's music but have most of canibus' so i doubt I am being biased. As for who won, I'm not sure, maybe a tie, though I give the edge to LL if i really had to pick a winner. I never really listened to LL's tracks in this feud real good until now, and its better than i remembered. LL destroyed any chance of a career Bis' had.

Sorry I know you said this wasn't about who won lol.

I think what he ment with the 99% of the fans being women, isn't about women, but about his target audience, which means that his shit is soft (Emotional, about love and so on), and being a soft rapper equals being a wack rapper.

Still same concept though. That is why I mentioned "or that having so many woman fans isn't real" Coz I agree, he might not exactly meant it about women but it still tosses them under the bus. But either way my point is 99% don't exist > 99% are women.

And Younes, I've always felt that the Ripper Strikes Back was a better diss, though they are both quality disses (and 2nd Round KO)

Ripper Strikes back is clearly the better diss track considering this whole feud, but Canibus wasn't slacking either, his shit was tight...

I don't really care for his music. It's my opinion. Not really missing out on anything if I don't like it.
