I think a couple things he missed, a few things he should've pointed out when the dude asked him if supported going into Afghanistan - the ridiculous pretext, double standards and the law. It was illegal, there was no SC authorization. On top of that, we can ask if anyone really believes in invading, occupying and destroying countries that "harbour terrorists" or "support" and "fund terrorism". Terrorists are harboured, funded and supported on a regular in and by the powerful states - in Israel, in Florida, in El Salvador, in Honduras, in Iran, etc. Does anyone believe that Cuba has the right to invade, occupy and destroy the US? When the IRA was being largely funded out of Boston, did anyone think that England had the right to bomb and invade the US? Ok, so why is it Ok when you do it to Afghanistan? Establishment fucks never wanna address these questions. A great example is watching Hitchens and Galloway on Bill Maher. Galloway brings up that terrorists have been harboured in Florida for more than 40 years, being protected, supported and funded in their terrorists attacks against Cuba. As he speaks, Hitchens only response is to cough loudly to try to interrupt him. He's got no answer. It's fucking amazing how fanatical propagandists are presented as serious, rational speakers of truth.

After you point out the basics, the basic principles that the world is supposed be run on, the rules of official law and how they contrast severely with the self-proclaimed righteous actions of the powerful (see Hitchens again, in that "debate" on Bill Maher where he cynically pretends not to understand how Afghans can hate us after we brought them "free elections", lol), then you can move on to the other stuff, about how even the FBI concedes that there's no evidence that bin laden was behind 9/11, or that bin laden was created by the US and fostered as an ally until his goals - and the goals of people like him - diverged with their own.

i know people hate Alex Jones because he's a lunatic, but i really can't stand the Young Turks guy. i don't know if it's the way he talks, his attitude, or what, but he just annoys the hell out of me.
