@El Mono, I can't really describe it. I just feel like an entirely different person since taking these. I noticed immense changes both physically and mentally. I feel much stronger and full of energy, and my thoughts are more clear, and positive. It's going to be hard to understand until you try it, as strange as that sounds.

Anyways, it's not about being fish. Chlorella and Spirulina are the base of the food chain, and contain all the vital nutrients for life, and THEN some.

I personally don't mind the taste, but I don't particularly enjoy it as well. It's a supplement that I take, so I just swallow it whole with water.

No side effects, this is probably THE best food on planet earth for you. Read the E-Book. In studies, it's made children who took 1 gram a day of Chlorella 82% smarter in 6 months then their classroom mates that weren't taking it.. That is an INSANE difference, especially because 1g a day isn't a lot at all. This food can cure and prevent cancer, as well as many other diseases. I looked into self-growing it, but it doesn't look like such a great idea.

For one, Chlorella is a chelation agent. It grabs heavy toxic metals and pollutants in your body, and holds on to them, until you excrete them from your body. If these are grown in an environment that isn't 99.99% clean, then the chlorella might bind to toxic materials while growing, so that when you ingest it, it will have already used up its slots for binding to toxic materials and won't give you that benefit.

Another reason, is that I think in order to grow them the correct way, you need special machines (I could be wrong?). Look up how Chlorella is farmed and harvested and you'll see the huge pools they used to make them.

Last but not least, when getting Chlorella, you want to look for "Broken Cell Wall" Chlorella, which doesn't happen naturally. This broken cell wall makes it easier to digest, if I remember right, and also helps with chelating toxic materials. I'm not sure exactly how they cause this to happen, but I'm sure it would be rather difficult to try it on your own without the proper equipment.
