Spanish Civil War
Ive mentioned it a few times allready so i thought i post a few links for people wanting to learn more about it.

To Remember Spain: The Anarchist and Syndicalist Revoultion of 1936

The Spanish Civil War: Anarchism in Action

Id start off with these, they are both quite long though so it may take some time to get though them. They are also worth a read if you are interested in anarchism in general and want to know more about something that is rarely touched on.

I am the Abraham Lincoln of the forum, I free the slaves.

ha ha - now you know Hamish.

Stalin took Spanish gold in exchange for weapons - he loved it - I will dig out his comments at the time. The film Land and Freedom was good on that - and a lot has been written about it. Orwell is a pretty good writer. British werent neutral either as they said - as they blockaded supplies to the Republic.

Reading Malraux at the moment on civil war- pretty good so far

you can get penguin paperbacks s/hand if you look out for them - worth reading.

RE: Spanish Civil War
Wow, random, just started reading the book like 3 days ago, finally. Been looking for some good sources on the Spanish civil war for a while now, will check out the one's above. Thanks for posting, didn't know stuff was around here.

Also, if anyone has any info to share, a breakdown, opinions, whatever you've learned, it'd be dope to hear.

Unfortunately it's not much of a surprise. Bloody politics eh.
I'll look more into it when I get a chance, I've enough to be getting on with at the moment.
