Really interesting and beautiful way of interpreting the Christ story.

I just actually finished watching the video. Fucking brilliant, Slavoj is the man. Its refreshing to hear a critique on Christianity and religion and having the statement that Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins preach bullshit in the same speech. As usual, Slavoj on point and most important of all gives you mad shit to think about.

Exactly, all because people are atheist doesn't give them the right to destroy all of religion, just the parts harmful to humanity. That book looks really interesting, definitely gonna pick it up.

Yea no doubt, gonna pick up the book myself as well. Just wondering, what do you think about his statement when he said why he wasn't satisfied with Hitchens or Dawkins or other atheists answers to religion? His statement was that they don't explain WHY religion. What do you think?

I think that it is just as interesting, if anti-religion was the logical choice then more people should be atheistic by now, but obviously there are reasons for belief, and nobody seems to want to answer this except for, "they ignant". There must be greater reasons for religious following then just indoctrination and such, because some of those people just end up joining a different religion on their own will or they rebel against the indoctrinated ideals and reform their belief.
