Razorblade Salvation Line
"Better to Die And Sleep, Than Never Wake and Sleep
Than Linger On and Dare to Live When Your Souls Life is Gone" Its a very deep line(s) and its fucking best A bit confusing and the more i think about it it builds "the future laws to my philosofy" Anyways, what do you think it really means? The confusing part is the first 5 words... Better to die and sleep So you die in peace... but you never wake and sleep so sleep = death or resting... now you die living, or you are machine and you never really wake to live life -- Either way you sleep, but dieing (living life) is better than not and being still... "asleep" Then second line.. "Than Linger On and Dare to Live When Your Souls Life is Gone" I'll just wait for your ideas |

RE: Razorblade Salvation Line
I never really knew what the line meant either. The word that I based my explanation off of was "soul." I thought about it once and the best explanation i could come up with was:
"It's better to die and sleep," as one should inevitably die, if you're soulless. When you die, you sleep. "Than never wake and sleep." Than to never have a 'soul' (or wake) and sleep, and die inevitably. In other words, If you have no soul, it's better to die, than to never have a soul and die anyways; while lingering on through life when your life's soul is gone. "Than linger on and dare to live when the soul's life is gone." Thoughts? ![]() |

RE: Razorblade Salvation Line
Never acctually had a clue what it meant. Just sounds cool.
Check this. Seems like it's from the song that they sing in the play or something? http://www.theatrehistory.com/ancient/bates023.html ![]()

RE: Razorblade Salvation Line
"Better to Die And Sleep, Than Never Wake and Sleep
Than Linger On and Dare to Live When Your Souls Life is Gone" I think its one of those lines that means X for whoever Right now i thought of it... and i guess to me it means... its better to just live spiritually and sleep (die) and die physically VS. never wake up spiritually and die physically Because if you never wake up spiritually... then you linger on and dare to live even though the life of your soul is gone and you'll die anyway (inevitabely) So in simple words... better to have a soul and die... than never have a soul and die |
