RE: Rage Against The Machine
If they don't inspire you, they'll make you angry. But you'll feel awesome about your anger because they'll tell you that your anger is a gift.

RE: Rage Against The Machine
I'll listen to the albums you posted up and reply back to this thread in like a week or two and let you know if I still think De La Rocha should be working at McDonalds.

RE: Rage Against The Machine
If you're zach intolerant, you mate, have no substance

To love is to suffer.
To avoid suffering, one must not love.
But then one suffers from not loving.
Therefore, to love is to suffer.
Not to love is to suffer.
To suffer is to suffer.
To be happy is to love.
To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy.
Therefore, to be unhappy one must love,
or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness...
I hope you're getting this down.

as we're about to move into 2012 i'm still in a room without a view

You begin saving the world by saving one man at a time; all else is grandiose romanticism or politics.

Tbh, its actually kind of grown on me. I thought Battle of Los Angeles was awful but Evil Empire is pretty badass. People of the Sun is one of my fave songs atm.

RE: Rage Against The Machine
RATM is way better then Audioslave. Zack brought that ferocious hip hop flow into the music with politically charged lyrics. Audioslave was way too alternative. RATM has had more impact in the world than Audioslave. If it wasn't for RATM, I dont think I would've been drawn to hip hop, since RATM incorporated hip hop, funk, hardcore, metal, punk, all into their music without using synthesizer, or vocal tuning mixes.
