I believe it was Nixon who got rid of the draft at the beginin of the 70's so anti vietnam war protesters could not complain about having to fight a war they did not agree with.

same goes for today you take people off the battle field casualties go down the people find themselves with one less thing to speak out against.

Im here to tell you that this will never be incorperated into the military, even if it has/will be used.

1stly, the price of this item would be huge for a single unit, how is any nation going to afford 100 of em? 2ndly its unreliable (as the lolmail article said) so for that reason it will never be used.
lastly, its only use is killing, which a human can do much better plus a human can judge and think about its surroundings and is not limited to 2 wheels.

And there are so many other projects like this that are even more pointless, its just the military testing new weapons, i bet the daily mail had nothing to report on so they picked this.
