Question about sleep.
Howya lads and lasses.im dying, I'm so tired.
I've an exam in three hours so need to be up in about two and have been up since 12 this morning, midday. It's currently 6:20am. What I want to know is, is it more beneficial to sleep for two hours or stay up? I'm supposed to be studying but my brain has shut off...I honestly feel drunk. Brain cells are being deported. RE: Question about sleep.
You may as well stay up. Keep moving, don't sit down or lay down. You'll regret it. Trust me.
I hear Red Bull works. There's no one answer I could find. It also depends on your physiology. Some people can stay up, some can't. It may be best to sleep but have like 5 alarms to make sure you wake up. For future purposes, you may want to try the Uberman sleep schedule. seems like you'll be able to sleep for 2 hours with no drawbacks and with full energy if you follow this. I'm interested in trying it myself but my current schedule doesn't allow me to. http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2002/4/15/103358/720 "Humans are the most individualistic species I know. RE: Question about sleep.
always decide on sleep over staying awake. even 15 minutes of sleep is enough for the brain to recollect. trust me, i've been in loads of situations where i'd pull an allnighter and then determining whether to put in sleep. oh and DAMN good luck incorporating any concentration on that test with no sleep *thumbs up* .
i told God to protect me from my enemies... i started loosing my friends. |

RE: Question about sleep.
Cheers lads and lasses! Mainly cleef.
Right, well I slept for half an hour after I realised my brain had literally no chance of taking in any more information. Woke up, went down to centra for a chicken roll and a cuppa and was sorted...other than the fact I wasn't. Not that anyone but cleef cares but I did sound in the exam. I'd say I got around 60 or so. Anymore though, ima sleep for like 4 hours and then get up and study, better than study and then sleep until exam. Im the study night before man so this works better than studying for days before and getting normal sleep. And ya midnight eyez I know....look the pretty lady commented on my thread she must like me the best!

I always thought it was 4 hours but you're probably right, is it better to wake up during r.e.m or light sleep stage but with less sleep or is it better to get 2 hours more sleep for example but awoken abruptly during deep sleep?? I always wondered this. P.s. that was worded horribly but don't hate me. No Gimmicks
