RE: Objectivism, what do you think?
Living in a socialist society, I would say the biggest reason for some one leeching would be his connection to the society he is leeching from... breaks down to wether he feels he is a part of it or just dont give a fuck..

How the fuck did you reach that conclusion? All I said was that people feed of the system and I dislike it. I also believe that her ideals of holding yourself to a higher moral standard where you first make sure your happy before you begin to make others happy is totally valid, although she is extreme about.

With that being said, I believe it is more of a cultural problem than it is a problem with human nature. Its really a 2 step process, society fucks you, then it encourages you to become complacent and live in this miserable world of dependence and inferiority. I'm sure it doesn't help that everyone living there thinks living on welfare is something to be proud of, like its something cool. But again, that's a cultural issue. On the other issue I posted a reply but it didn't go through for whatever reason and i'm too lazy to repost it because it was long so i'll just sum it up and say that I believe in laws of the physical world, such as laws of science, etc. So to me I see no reason to believe there are no laws in the metaphysical world.
blah blah blah so what if SOME leech the vast majority are using it for basic survival. What cultural problem we are talking about the systematic disinclusion of a people from society REGARDLESS of race look at the British riots if you don't believe me, look where the first place to cut budgets are in education in health care in social benefits and job training .Your attempt to distort the reality of people in the ghetto's is without any kind of claim.

Read more than the first sentence please. Thanks.

she takes pleasure in not taking away money from imperialist wars and doing the same thing every ceo does? my mom is similar, by the book kind of person. she is wonderful but very illusioned on that, as i am sure yours is.

this is america. not a socialist utopia where it would be unethical to cheat the system.

RE: Objectivism, what do you think?
Taking money away from imperialist wars. Really? Come on Lazarus don't do this. You know better than that. America doesn't draw its money for its wars from welfare. That statement is absurd to suggest that not only is America drawing its billions of dollars for its wars from welfare, but that people who do not take money away from welfare are taking pleasure in participating in imperialist wars.

RE: Objectivism, what do you think?
So your morals are so low you would feel right by stealing money that might actually fall in the hands of a needy person? s that really your masterful argument?

RE: Objectivism, what do you think?
i'm saying that i see no fault in pimping a system that is designed to benefit the bourgeois, their tax breaks and wars. i get that the welfare and defense budgets are separated, but considering that the welfare recipients pay taxes while people like GE don't, i don't see any offense
