It looks like De La Soul is back, as they announced plans for a new album this year. Their most recent release, First Serve, featured only Posdnuos and Dave, making this upcoming project the first full De La Soul album in about eight years.

There hasn't been much information about the album as of yet, but Posdnuos says they have a lot of ideas for what they want to do. You can expect to hear some tracks dropping on the radio in the next few weeks, so keep your ear to the streets. De La usually doesn't disappoint.

Heard this through The Roots, I haven't listened to De La's recent stuff, hope they release some good shit
