Moving Threads
Lor3nzO has asked if the forums could be organized a bit better as far as threads being posted in the correct areas, so I'm trying to hit that up. I'm just looking at thread titles and basically the subject of the first post.
It's kinda hard to be exact about this, cause some thread subjects could be considered to be either about this subject or that subject. For example, some things could be in either, FREEDOM OF SPEECH (Politics/World Issues/Religion) or in CROSSING THE BOUNDARY (Conspiracism/Paranormal) Whether a subject belongs in "Religion" or "Paranormal" is really just up to people's viewpoints. What's right? Who knows. If you think that a thread that has been moved is better suited somewhere else, or in it's original location, speak up. Post a link to the thread here and just explain your thoughts. Also, if you come across threads that seem like they're in the wrong place, no one's gonna complain if you point them out. Thanks. peace ![]()

RE: Moving Threads
Meh, those two forums are vague on information regarding what is supposed to go in them. I say if the threads look like they belong in either of those two forums, then just leave it where it is. I would only "move" a thread if it was wayyy out of place. Like a religious thread in the General Talk section.

RE: Moving Threads
^yeah, right now I'm going through That's What It Is, but it's hard to decide sometimes where to move a thread to.

RE: Moving Threads
yeah man i know what you mean, its hard to know where to put them, like the conspiracy section its debatable whether some threads are "conspiracy's" but just do what you think is best. doesnt have to be perfect but like killu said, move the ones that are way out of place, the others we can leave for members to bring into question if need be.

The way it makes sense to me Gezus, is that "That's What It Is" mentions things like "books, sports and art" and is basically the spot for stuff that doesn't have it's own category. "The Point of No Return" says "who you are, where you're from, interests, favorite tracks, albums". The intro spot, I know, but it seems like the spot where personal issues would fit. If a thread seems to fit in a category, it can go there. Things like people's pics are there, and people talk about a lot personal shit in their intro threads. It just made sense to me that way. I moved a lot out of "That's What It Is" in the last few weeks, just cause it could fit somewhere else. Not to say things don't fit in the "general chat" area, but if they can fit somewhere else, it keeps that section with just totally random stuff that has no place anywhere else. Shit, now I'm confusing myself.... ![]()

RE: Moving Threads
No that thread http://www.immortaltechnique.co.uk/Threa...-m-in-love should be in General chat.
The introduction section is just for members to introduce themselves, not for personal issues, i have moved the thread back. |

RE: Moving Threads
general chat is a chillout lounge but in the future when we have more threads in that section we will create a forum for books/literature etc and move some of the them there if you know what i mean, general chat wont always be "books, art, sport" etc, just for the moment till we have enough threads to create new sections

RE: Moving Threads
Ok, they're all moved in to "That's What It Is", and the one into "Showcase". But what about this one. Do you want it stuck at the top in "The Point Of No Return"?
