Mililtary path
Yeah i been thinking about going into the marines and i have many many reasons why i wanna join it.
1. terrible in academics
2. Premium health-care benefits
3.Physical fitness
4.Discipline
5. Korean and Japan
6.Money+collage
7.I like guns
8.Nice opportunities
9. A lot girls get turned on by men who join in the marines
10.I wanna be a bad ass
11.I like getting bitched at...(jk)
12.They have martial arts+learning how to killl
not only that since i'm in jrotc at my school i get more pay if i stay in jrotc for 2 years..

I wanna hear you opinion if i should join the military.
If not then explain why i shouldn't join the marines or any other military branch.

If you disagree with me because i decided to join the military or marine corps
please explain and tell me if there is any other path i should take that would help me in my career to martial arts in videos games and oh traveling......
I have to say since all of the marines are out of Iraq i don't have to worry about going there so i think enlistimg some time sooner would be good...

RE: Mililtary path
I think it's a wonderful ideaSmiley
especially since you're in rotc and will be making more money than most of the people around you when you join.
the military is a great opportunity and if you don't like it, you can get out after for years, so i think you should go

i plan on joining the air force when i graduateSmiley

RE: Mililtary path
^Word up........i think the marines would be perfect for me it would help me out a lot for the path of career i'm choosing my mo and my brother supports me but one of my sister doesn't she said she rather see me in go army
but the army isn't as good as the marines corps i have to say army is like the lowest out of the military branches
but the regulations are pretty much the same (drill team wise) people who were in the marines tell that it's way better than the army..and i hope you make it to the air force they are also a top notch branch....

RE: Mililtary path
I would talk to people who have been through it because I feel as though it would be difficult to make the decision when you really don't know what your gonna face or how your gonna react. Some people do fine others have to do terrible things and suffer psychologically from it. As far as marines it will probably be more intense but I would rather do that than the army, overall airforce would be what I would do (safer). Also I would recommend getting some kind of training/education for a certain position so you have skills that can be applied somewhere other than the frontline, unless that is what you want. Recruiters can be deceptive so do your research.

If you want to join the marines then fair play to you, but don't just be a grunt. I'm sure there are a number of roles you can perform that are not pure shooting.

You begin saving the world by saving one man at a time; all else is grandiose romanticism or politics.

yeah military life is not for everyone not everyone has the same mind.
but since i went through hardship out my whole life i know i can survive the training for the marines my life lessons has already put me through some kind of state of mind this includes having super natural experiences so yeah you my mind is kind of like a rock... but for the physical part that's the part i have to work on more now since i have one more year left and that'll be enough time to get in shape...

most of the marines i met went to korea and japan i always wanted to visit those countries mainly people who are trained in san diego california are most likely to serve in japan for a year after they finished their training....
