He did a lot of good. He taught black people self determination, self reliance, knowledge of themselves and black pride. Even if you disagree with his method, Malcolm X is the perfect example because he was a criminal and at the bottom of society but he was raised up by the honorable Elijah Muhammad.

Understand, The Nation of Islam in the 60's was what the black race needed, for culture, to be proud of the black race that was put down by Caucasians.

What they needed was the black panther party, which didnt really establish itself until after the civil rights movement sadly.

I'm not saying the Nation of Islam didn't do good, but it was still run by a Loon, and any way John Elton Bembry made Malcolm what he was.

The black panther party took a lot of it's ideas from the nation of Islam. The nation of Islam advocated self-defense also.

Malcolm said himself that Elijah saved him. You're kidding yourself if you don't think Malcolm was who he was because of Elijah Muhammad and the nation of Islam... and I'm curious why you dislike Elijah Muhammad and the nation of Islam. Tell me why he is a loon.
