RE: "Luxuries" in a Communist Society
Native Americans had a heirarchal society where the elders dictated the terms of life= government. Groups of people working toghether does not mean government. I don't know how free societies will function, but that does not matter. A society based on violent government is not the answer.

governance by democracy over matters that address the community collectively, such as the economy is however necessary. and a proletarian state is necessary in socialism until capitalism is defeated.

RE: "Luxuries" in a Communist Society
It's not so much a case of defeating capitalism as it is evolving from it.

That's...redundant. What I meant by "governance" was that no exclusive political body had a decision on matters.

Democracy is decisions by the community.

Humans don't need someone hovering over them telling them what to do.

If a community needs something, they won't make a request to some senate or congress, but they'll talk it out amongst themselves as a community. That's what I mean. We are perfectly capable of that and we see that in oppositions to tyranny.

that would work on local community matters such as food distribution but not larger global issues

RE: "Luxuries" in a Communist Society
no i actually just wrote an essay on the french revolution where i gave a theoretical blowjob to capitalism's advance from feudalism. the word evil has no place in theory or analysis. capitalism is inherently oppressive but less so then feudalism or slavery.

It would require cooperation from various regions. To talk about global appliance would all become theory.

Laz do you honestly believe that a Socialist state, where the power is held in the hands of a few "great minds"?
