Looking for female lead groups/artist
I've been doing a lot of expanding my music collection lately (primarily through Pandora.com) and saw I basically don't have anything in the way of female artists, granted some songs have a guest singer or something, but nothing by a lead female. The one oddity I currently have in my collection is "Promiscuous" by Nelly Furtado, yeah its radio pop I guess but I dig her sound & production though. The types of artists I'm listening to are stuff like Wax Tailor, Zero 7, Air, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, Kid Koala, Basement Jaxx, etc, lots of good hip-hop & various genres of dance/trance/house/DJing. Could anyone recommend some artists that might be worth listening to?

It's not hip hop, but its the sickest shit you'll hear all day.
(Ya gotta make it to the strings at the end to really understand how bad ass the guy that remixed this track is.)

If you want girl turntablism, check out TwiceAsNice: DJ analyze and DJ shortee. Analyze has toured with Cypress Hill, she's amazing.

SO SICK.

but yeh, like I said b4, its fuct up, I think a part of it iz the whole 'brings back memories' buzz I get, just like when I listen 2 Bob Marley + UB40 it takes me back 2 when I was a just a little kid Smiley-grin
