Legalize Weed ? Yes or No ?

I appreciate that we each have our differing opinion and a total agreement unlikely. Clearly we mostly have some overall commonalities.

My basic stance on all mind altering drugs is that they represent personal conciousness modification. If I as an adult do not even have the most basic right, that to choose to investigate or modify my own self-conciousness then I am no in away a free being. If even in the privacy of my own home the most refined part of the human is controlled by the rules and opinions of others how can it be right? My mind fabric has little connection at all to matter or the physical world who else can legitimately control or direct it other than myself?

It does not matter whether its weed, salvia, coke or DMT.

I am interested to know why some arbitrary stranger in an office in some city should dictate rules as to what I am aloud to do within my head? (and he is probably Skull & Bones/Illuminati)

I certainly don't want a government who feel they have that kind of right over me.

Education, warning, safe guidelines, age restriction and fines to legitimate legal shops that sell drugs to the under 18/21 (as with alcohol and tobacco). That much I am happy to go with after that it is my head, my business.

The drug industry, not specifically just weed, is one of the biggest industries in NA. If it were legalizzd private US corporation wouldnt be making millions of dollars. The only reason drug dealers get paid say $100, 000 to get X kg of weed or possible something more expensive from point A to point B is exactly because it is illegal. This makes room for corporate America to make millions by making it illegal, which then subsqeuently puts a much higher price tag on drugs. This may not be really true for marijuana, but other drugs are expensive only because they are illegal.

Making weed illegal would REDUCE the use as well. Alot of people smoke it just because they think it's cool to smoke something illegal. Making weed legal would increase the use in the short term, but in the long term it would help.

Plus people who are gonna smoke, are gonna smoke whether its legal or not. Making it illegal only allows for corporations to make millions. So yea, legalize that shit!

If we can smoke/drink and hurt ourselves and people arround us we will hardly feel a knockback from leagalising it.

And if run by a good company it could become a very profitable item, and government could tax it so we get the money instead of the drug lord coprerations.

Also the government spends billions of dolars/pounds on court cases, prision fees and a whole other needless expenses cus of this plant that can have befits to ill/stressed people.

I don't use weed at all and I think it should be leaglized. It would be better for the economy to tax and regulate it. Plain and simple. If tobacco and alcohol is legal, why not weed? The governement shouldn't raid our homes for a soft drug. Hell, leagilize all drugs!!!

Quoted, "Those powers would be 'few & defined' while the powers remaining in the state governments would be 'numerous & indefinite.'"

THE TENTH AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
I bring this up, because you all need to know about your rights. The reason why America represents freedom and equality. The reason why we have "checks and balances" in our country is to protect the destruction of this nation by the "separation of powers."

You do not need to be a political analyst or a Constitutional lawyer to understand these principles. In several states throughout the United States, we have already had elections regarding the 'legalization of marijuana,' and numerous times, has the Federal Government abolished states rights for the people to choose selectively what to prohibit or repeal into society.
One perfect example to show you that I am 100% right on this is the issue in gay marriage. Prop 8 in California which made gay marriages, illegal. However, the Federal Government has no grounds as to whether California can or cannot pass a certain law as this, due to the participation of the Constitution, which clearly does not state any facts based on whether a man or a woman can or cannot selectively be married or get married to a person of the same sex.

So instead, I want all of you, if you have the patients to read through my entire novel on marijuana legalization, to stand up and fight for your right to live freely and at the same time, eliminate the flow of drugs that are being trafficked through EXTREMELY dangerous belligerent powers that put your lives at risk, put your families lives at risk, they put your kids life at risk, and THEY PUT YOUR FUTURE AT RISK.

And from there, either find a local American grower and make sure to expose him to the public so that others may have as fair of an opportunity to receive product as you are, until you finally start growing your own plants within your home.

Remember, one plant takes approx. 3-5 months to mature and to cultivate and it creates roughly one pound of marijuana. In order to keep yourself out of legal troubles until the day this plant is legalized, make sure to only grow one to two plants at a time.

i couldent read all the messages but personally i think we should legalise it. in one side beer and smokes are as badly as weed so the 3 of them sould be legalised or none of them

in another side they said weed makes a dependence, fuck you, coke has 10 times more dependence than weed, heroine has 10 times more dependece than weed and smokes has more dependece than heroine ( in a long period of time ). so the argument that weed makes a dependence is just bullshit

in another side legalising weed and selling it in the country would make alot of profits giving nice money to the gouvernement so they can spend them in more thing ( but hey we all know theyre gonna keep it in their pockets )
