RE: Kitchen Recipes!
Pomegranate & Mint Yoghurt Dip

This is a family one, but let me leak it on here.

Easy to do, unless your a Llama.
Basically this is a cool yoghurt dip that can accomodate virtually any food, Although I make it occasionaly.

Ingredients:
Dried Pomegranate Seeds (Hard to attain, but works better cause of the richer taste) You can add as much as you want, depending on how sweet you want it & how much you wanna make.

Mint sauce or Fresh Mint, If you wanna take a shortcut just use Mint sauce it's easier to buy anyway, unless you have fresh mint growing in your garden, Like I used to. Improvise with this, add how much you feel is right, but not too much. Like a few tsp or w/e.

Fresh Yoghurt, Normal one or the Greek Yoghurt.

Salt, to add after.

Method:
Crush the pomegranate seeds lightly, you'll find they're pretty easy to.
Add to mini-food processor you need one.
Add the mint sauce.
Add few tsp of water
Start processing, but keep stopping after 10 secs to see the consistency cause you might needa add abit more water to it but don't make it too runny, just so you get a thicker texture.

Once you've got a cool looking sauce, add it to the yoghurt and MIX.
Then add a pinch of salt.

Et Viola! Try with anything, should taste good.

RE: Kitchen Recipes!
Ok here goes a good recipe for makin Molletes, its like a half sub with chorizo, beans and cheese...its good as fuck 2 here it goes,
Ingredients:
About 5 of the thingies u use for makin subs, for example French Bread..we call it like the homie chino said pan for las tortas haha..(u will cut em in half tho)
about one pack of chorizo(u can find this at any local lil market where hispanic foods are sold)
Sour Cream(optional)
Can of Refried Beans
Monterrey Cheese

Directions:
Ok u get the french bread and slice em in half, till u have like about 6 o 7 pieces about 6 inches big, turn on ur oven at 360 degrees,Next in a pan u cook the chorizo no oil or butter added the same fat from the chorizo would do it,in another pan u put the beans to cook for a lil bit,
next u brush a lil bit of butter over the pieces of french bread and then once the chorizo is ready,it has to be dark red,and once the beans are ready 2,u spread the beans over the french bread nice and smoothly, next u sprinkle on some chorizo and next u slice the monterey cheese and put about 3 or 4 slices on top of the french bread, coverin the beans and chorizo, next u put the french bread already prepared with the ingredients and put them inside the oven, wait about 5 to 10 mins, till the cheese melts and the bread is golden and looks crusty lol,u can either eatin like that or i personally like to put some sour cream on top and listooooooo......Enjoyyyyyy....:i-m_so_happy:

RE: Kitchen Recipes!
Haha, thought so.

I'm liking this, Mexican food rocks. Here, they sell like the 'ready made' tortilla and fajita stuff. But it's actually pretty easy to make, I guess people just have trouble with the filling.
I get everything else but I'm gonna replace the smoky Chorizo though as it's Pig, and I'm Muslim.

how about un quesadila con guacamole ?
Lol its simple, but good heres what you need:

2 flour tortillas (available at any store selling hispanic food

mixed cheese, ( i think thats what it is)

guacamole( avacados, chopped onions and tomatoes, also with chopped cilantro, and mix them all together)

optional: carne asada

makes 2 quesadillas

Method: place one tortilla on top of a heated stove, and wait until its hot and just starting to brown( and make bubbles inside) and flip it over and do the same, then on one half of the tortilla add your cheese and fold the other side of the tortilla over, and heat it some more then open the folded quesadilla and add your guacamole on it close the fold back together

finito, gots your quesadila made, now Eat Smiley-grin

Peace, from the homie Chino
