even tho i don't think there will never be peace hopefully one day there will be peace but i think that peace state is a 100 and 100 years away

look, Im not defending anyone here. I said that religious violence is fubar.
It doesnt matter in what you belive, killing in the name of the god, or the higher principles, is by all means wrong.

the murder is an ultimate sin. I dont care if its for political, economical or any other fucked up reason. if you truly belive in god, you dont kill people.
the sad part is that some people (yes, I talking about the radical extremists from the middle east and the bigoted fake christians) are just blinded by their fanaticism. war has become either bussines or religious martyrdom. if you spread the violence, theres no god with you.

most the terrorist are government allies in the dark thats what people need to realise look up c.i.a helping the taliban to escape Afghanistan look up at 9-11 were if anyone(lawyer/s etc) was going to prosecute any al qaeda member, they were either going to be fired from there position or arrested for being the threat to national security which i thought was real odd and was never in the media

so really n truly we cannot blame religions especially if you don't know shit about them

exactly correct. one of the major problems of trying to comprehend the Quranic verses is that it is in an unmatched language which is incredibly difficult to translate into any other. Alot of the verses speak in terms of metaphors which is usually beyond the comprehension of even arabic-speaking people. As you say, the true meaning of the verses will be apparent only if they are understood in context. Another barrier to people understanding the Quran correctly is that many words have multiple meanings. For example where it says; "Kill the kuffar", in that context the arabic word kuffar means 'those who cover the truth and decieve', it doesnt neccessarily mean the disbeleivers. Peace.
