His album "Me Against the World" was #1 - I've never even heard a Tech song played on the radio apart from dedicated US rap shows. Anybodies death will make more people look at their work, but don't get it twisted. Underground rap is nowhere near popular enough to get in the top 10 even with unfortunate curcumstances. Just look at Big L - he was major talented and even had connections to big players (Jay-Z etc..) but his posthumous release didn't make him a big name outside of the underground. Our best hope for Tech is that he keeps doing what he's doing. He may not have the biggest fanbase but it is exceptionally dedicated. On a sidenote - why would the government kill him? Yes he speaks out against them but him dying is suspicious curcumstances would only make his accusations against them seem validated. At least now they can just label him an excentric. |

Dedicated to the causes tech speaks on - not as much exceptional dedication as i originally thought. |

RE: In the Footsteps of 2pac
God forbid another rapper being murdered for whatever reason, be it personal or political. You’d be stupid to repeat the same mistakes of others and to not watch out for what/who destroyed those before you. 2pac (rest in peace) wanted a political party representing the people, to see his children born, etc. I don’t want to see another person fail, not because they aren’t capable, but mostly because of their blindness in not seeing the trap set for them.
On that note: TRAPPED |

Quote:Last thing he said to me prior to leaving was he’s not going to be in Vegas, I don’t have to worry about him showing up, and don’t worry about it because he won’t be there. He did not want to go to Vegas. As a matter of fact, he fought off going to Vegas all the way to the last second and when I got there I was surprised to see him there because he had told us that he was not going there with his words, “Them sell out niggaz” I wasn't aware 2pac hesitated going to Vegas. Just goes to show you how you should listen to your gut. |
