Immortal Technique's religious views and beliefs
For those that have seen/read Immortal Technique's interviews as well as listened to his music, would know that he does believe in God (one God to be exact).
It is possible that he has faith in one particular religion, maybe two or even his own. Yet which one, that is not certain. What religion / Way of life do you think he follows/practices??? EDIT by EnZo: Immortal Technique does NOT place his faith in any specific religion. Read here for his views on Religion: http://www.immortaltechnique.co.uk/Threa...n-Religion |

RE: Immortal Technique's religious views and beliefs
To my understanding he is not a religious person and he doesn't belong to any of those religions. Even though he respects them for what they are.

RE: Immortal Technique's religious views and beliefs
If i had to pinpoint based on what I've gathered I'd say he's a deist, but that's not really a religion..and it's the belief in a creator, but not one who takes an active role in the events of the universe.

He's just a very understanding person. He can recognize when truth gets faded into coruption.

RE: Immortal Technique's religious views and beliefs
It seems as if he simple believes there is a creator... not a creator from any particular religion. From what I understand, he seems to believe that there are some truths in a few religious doctrines. That's just my guess though.

RE: Immortal Technique's religious views and beliefs
Let me just settle the topic once and for all.
I learned yesterday from Tech's right hand man, that Tech is not involved with any religious group. He's not part of any religion. As far as his beliefs in god, that's a different story. /thread

RE: Immortal Technique's religious views and beliefs
Pretty sure i heard somewhere that he bases his relegious beliefs on christianity, he just doesn't really follow closely with the church or anything, so maybe somethine like an independant christian?
"You know about 3000 years ago there were Egyptians who worshipped the statues of Gods like Osiris and Anubis and thought praying to these pagan entities gave them strength, virility, victory and love. We now scoff at this practice and that think 'how could people be so ignorant as to worship such idols thinking they will bring them what they ask for?' We think how could people pray to a man with a dogs head or a man with a bird's head and think that those deities will fulfill their humble requests from the heavens. But the sad truth is that 3000 years from now if humanity still exists people will probably look back on our society and say, 'look at these people they prayed to a man nailed to piece of wood, and the saddest part was that they couldn't even follow the most basic commandment of what he said, which was treat others the way you wish to be treated.' This coming from a person who while he doesn't let religion control his life, believes in God strongly, and knows how much Christ and others like him spoke about individuals who made money off of others suffering, people like our modern day war profiteers, globalization architects and oil barons. Knowing how Jesus brought drama to the Holy Temple back in the day because of the way the people had made the name of God into a mechanism to increase their own personal wealth... I think that the people who work for the administration and more specifically the president that are reading this right now should let him know that if Jesus was alive, he'd probably spit in your face." ^^^^ from Techniques blogs on myspace... Kinda answers the question in a way /
