so many people use ie bc a lot of computer users are casual, thats the default brower for windows and schools. note that they only measure % of users not percent of time online

Actually Firefox is, at least for me, about 2-5 seconds faster than Chrome, at the minimum, for loading pages, usually..

But unless you're an impatient arsehole (Not saying you are) it doesn't matter. After you've loaded the first few pages regardless, everything runs smoothly on any browser.
