Help educate me, point me in the right direction!
Hey there bro's!

When I first came on this site it was because I felt I would find some people who loved Tech and would talk real stuff instead of petty stupid shit. And that's what I got and only now do I realise how much of a retard I am compared to you. I see you guys in these deep political and religious discussions and I look at some of the stuff you guys say and the walls of incredibly informative text and I'm just like.. wtf does this shit mean.?

So on my personal quest of enlightenment and education of our beautiful worlds history and it's current events I'm calling upon you to help me.

Where do I start? what should I be reading? what sites should I be keeping active on? WHERE THE FUCK DO I GO TO START LEARNING AND BECOMING RELEVANT IN THE DISCUSSIONS ON THIS SITE?! ¬¬

Thank you ahead of time, you sexy Mutha's.

P.S I'll be checking back in the morning, it's 00:23 at the time of posting this and I'm tired as fuck.

You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world."

Find something you like... for example lets say your really in to science and you wanna learn a lot about it then read books of good scientist and so on.

Mine is politics I being reading over some political post and well try to keep my relevance up by reading books and watching some documentaries - even doth the second are not always the best source - so there you have it.

More than racism; it's stay-in-your-place-ism,
Our people are trapped in practical black-face-ism,

Watch some movies TheGrandVisionary. Seriously its more entertaining and if you watch the right ones it will lead you in the right direction anyway and everything will suddenly fall into place - especially if you like techs music to begin with.

Watch a film like 'If....' a good revolutionary film and a brilliant analysis of the class system ( remember that scriptwriters are novelists and social analysts too - or the best ones are).Have you seen this film?

'If...' is the best place you could start - in connection with anarchism - one reason cleef has it as his avatar.

Watch Sergio Leones film 'A Fistful of Dynamite' about the Irish and the Mexican revolutions. 'Land and Freedom' about the Spanish Civil War.If these inspire you then you can follow up with further reading if it interests you.

The best he general guide to anarchism is 'A History of Anarchism by George Woodcock - which is a good general guide.

Click on 1871 above and then click on threads and go to revolutionary movies. I'm going to be putting up some more info on anarchists soon - but also check out the thread on Bakunin.

This is the best answer you'll get, I like writing so I've been taking classes, reading a lot and sharing what I've come to learn. Feel free to get involved in discussion with your opinions and see how your opinions are taken into consideration and deconstructed, use the many perspectives on this site to see the pros and cons of your own perspective, and that's how you can build upon your own knowledge without losing yourself amongst the many valid points. If I had to suggest a single book to you, it'd be Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. It changed my perspective on life.

Find a personal balance between faith and logic that is true to you, but ultimately realize you don't know a thing, and neither do any of us. We accept our own reality as truth, and imparting what that reality is to us is part of the beauty of our differences, so by that respect just because you are less knowledgeable in aspects of culture (politics, language, art, science), does not make your moral and ethical foundation inferior and as long as you remember we are all equals, that the very nature of life does not discriminate, your opinion will be equal to whomever you engage with.

Much of discussion is argument, and what IS concrete is defined within the microcosm which it exists (i.e the laws of science and mathematics are irrefutable when talking from a logical [scientific and mathematical] standpoint) but all the microcosms by which we live sum up to a macrocosm of life, which no individual nor idea can encompass in it's entirety. Just remember when you are talking within these microcosms, whether it be politics or Christianity, know your shit. Double check information you are unsure of and do research in topics you are interested in engaging in discussion within. Do not assume, or you argument immediately becomes invalid and your very credibility diminishes.

But Vegan died so it doesn't count.
