@ vegan: lol i love the books. read them throughout the end of elementary into junior high and i read the last one when it came out. its funny i got more hooked as i went. first 2 took me months to read. the 3rd one took like 2 weeks. the 4th took a week. the 5th took 2 days and same goes for the other 2. the movies are alright in my opinion. to much is left out. they are the type of movies that should be easily 3 hours long. there is just so much that goes down.

I agree a lot were taken out, which is why I try just looking at it in the view that, one is a book, while the other is a movie. I'm here to enjoy both for what they're worth. Though, clearly, the 7th movie is going to be fucking brilliant! Given that it's going to be in 2 parts & will be as faithful to the book as it can get!

I disagree, the movies are generally poorly paced, poorly acted, poorly put together, although they do get progressively better.We'll see what 7 is like.
