Enlightenment? What is truth & What is the price?
Throw yourself into the fire.
Parts 1, 3, 4, and 6 are exceptionally badass. So lets have a discussion about what waking up really means. Is it an Inception type paradox where we exist within multiple levels of dreams? How do we let go of all of the little shit that pisses us off? Is it as simple as realizing that all we have is merely junk? How do we embrace death? I am scared of dying, I've thought about it all my life and its an infinitely overwhelming idea. A couple of years ago I went through a really bad bout of panic attacks where I thought I was going to have a heart attack, it was the most mortifying experience, and scary. Since then I've had the ability to say to myself, 'If it happens, it happens, stop worrying so much.' This thought has helped a lot with my manic panic but I still fear death. RE: Enlightenment? What is truth & What is the price?
i feel ya on the fear of death thing brotha
imagine a line, mark the very front of the Line "birth" and mark your date there. mines is november 1st, 1992 and continue with all the important life events you went throuhg in your life time, apporach the future and write in your ambitions as well, go all the way to 100 yrs of age. as the end turns up mark a place and write in that part : Death then add what would happen to the body you left behind. it would become food for worms, it will decpompose into the earth and within a short time, a plant or a tree will grow where your body is,. mark the time when the fruits of that tree will grow and when the tree will die. now take your line, and turn it into a circle. Keep the site alive and don't fight on the little differences, stay united, stay real, help and teach one another! ![]() "Fucking Chino laying down how its done. RE: Enlightenment? What is truth & What is the price?
Death is to be embraced, not feared. Many cultures of the past and even now embrace death. Death becomes scary when you look at it as an end. It's an end to your physical, yet you will always have a legacy.
Don't just make a circle, connect it with others and help them make circles. Then soon you'll make an infinite chain. Can we afford to reach enlightenment while others are in the darkness? Shouldn't the chains that bind us be broken first before seek our truths? Aren't some of us close to or even enlightened already? "Humans are the most individualistic species I know.
