If dude believed that world would no matter what end with a nuclear holocaust, he wouldn't preach to save it, since it will no matter what end with a nuclear holocaust.

Because I'm sure he wasn't chosen by every African slave dumped in the ocean, stolen by America, tortured, buried, and frozen. Or was hooked up to an electric chair waiting to fry as he wrote the song.
