RE: Does Pakistan support the Taliban ?
In 1989- 1992 America gave the Pakistani Governemet millions, maybe billions, dollars worth of weapons and ohther aid to support their proxy war against Russia. The US believed these arms would be give to the Mujahadeen, but the Pakistani government formed AIG at the same time behind the US backs. The AIG, Afghan Interim Government, was a grop comprised of about 7 traditionalist, or fundamentalist groups. What is the taliban? A fundamentalist/ traditionlist group. I did not read your link, also why do I need a torrent for a new link?

RE: Does Pakistan support the Taliban ?
The Taliban is as much a problem for the Government in Pakistan as the US terrorists bombing civilians. Playing off sides against eachother will be inevitable but this is an ongoing result of the failure of the war on terror.

Of course America has no right to bomb civilians in Afghanistan or Pakistanand to solve the problem for themselves they should just mind their own business, stop acting like team America thinking they have the right to be the worlds policeman and get the hell out of a place they have no right to be in in the first place.

IIRC the 'Taliban' is a more of a general term. I think its pretty clear that elements in Pakistans secret services have backed the Taliban in Afghanistan, as they fear an Afghanistan that is pro-India

RE: Does Pakistan support the Taliban ?
yeah, ofc they do... pretty clear to see so.

And btw, Taliban in Pakistan isn't the same as the one operating in Afghanistan, the Pakistani one which is under the leadership of the Mehsud tribe, is called Tehreek E Taliban, and their claimed purpose is to fight the Pakistani government for supporting USA and other stuff like that.

the Afghan Taliban is mainly under the leadership of Quetta shura, though the Taliban is used as a name for who ever resists NATO troops. But it's evident that while Pakistan receives billions and uses them to fight the Pakistani Taliban, they are still supporting the Afghan Taliban, for instance, Pakistan does not allow any UAVs over Balochistan area or the southern part of the Pashtun belt, but it is believed that the leadership of Afghan Taliban is mainly operating there.
Though then you got high level commanders who lives deep inside Pakistan, such as Mullah Baradar who was found to be living in Karachi etc. etc. etc.

I'm on the team of those who just seek to defend their homes.
I do in no way agree with what Taliban have done pre 2001, and I harshly condemn it, but to my notion, they have abadoned such kind of interpretation of Sharia.
Now it's not a war of ideologies in Afghanistan, but for independence and self determination. Though it can be discussed which methods are right and which arent.

Don't be a twat. Watch it and if you find yourself disagreeing, learn from there. Give your own critique. Be productive, don't comment on a thread that warrants discussion by saying that you aren't going to contribute too it.
Watching it now.
