RE: Cottonmouf- Silent Tears
I'm liking your lyrics/voice a lot amigo, they don't seem experienced though, they need to be built up, but that happens over time, if you know what I mean; however they sound like they're going down the right track, so it's all good.

Your flow, there is just something about it that seems to take away from the Lyrical ability.

And personally, I didn't feel the beat (But hey, that's the Producer not you)

Keep it up

RE: Cottonmouf- Silent Tears
Just for the feedback
You handled the verses real good... much better than other stuff i've seen people do

The chorus i didn't dig like i said before, what you make it better i think would if you had snappy catchy quick lines for the chorus... Careful words but quick rhymes like a one two punch then knock out
The stretching only works if you have either a slow track or a calm smooth and usually the long stretches needs a girl voice

Like first verse, tone is great, just need to emphasize some words or parts of words to get that "attack" in there
The best example i can have for "attack" in a song, is the rebel armz track.. check out tech - he has sick attack there
its a up and down of emphasizing words where it smashes the words in your ear

RE: Cottonmouf- Silent Tears
I Appreciate all the feedback duke, like i said i do all my own engineering and im not the greatest nor do i completely understand every aspect of it, but i have tried layering my tracks and it normally comes out sounding shitty so i just do without til i understand more, if there's anyone with tips/pointers on the actual engineering aspect, i'd greatly appreciate that, in fact i think the first time the hook runs on this track i tried layering and didnt like the sound and thats why there's only one layer of vocals on the rest.
