Can a Corporation run for office?
This thought just occurred to me. Corporations are people according to the US, so if they choose to do so, what is stopping one from holding a seat in congress or in office?

Please tell me someone thought of this ahead and point me to the piece of legislation that would absolve this... potential situation?

RE: Can a Corporation run for office?
No. in order for that to happen, the corporation has to be a state representative, must be 25 years of age when the election occurs, reside in the state they represent, and be a citizen for 7 years.
