Graffiti is art. When I was in Amsterdam the train track from the Airport into the city had walls along either side, the walls were completely tagged. There was no unpainted wall.

It obviously depends on the individual piece. A lot of graffiti is just shit and is a crime against the artists. There's A big long stretch by a friend's house on the waterfront in front of the industrial museum. It's being done up and there's a big fence running the length of it. It was covered with brilliant graffiti, great art, but then some fucking council cunt somewhere decided it would be better if it was all covered up with shitty, boring adverts for a shitty museum that was opening in a year. Fucking annoying.

But there was a gallery that held an exhibition of Bristol street artists. It was fucking sick. If only I could draw

and as long as its not gang related i give mad props for handeling a spot..i get that a lot of it is shitty looking but thats what the game is all about--->everyone starts toy and moves up in the food chain.

ART but sometimes people go to far. like tagging someone's house isn't cool >.> gotta respect people property but i always like seeing random city walls, trains, bridges and abandoned places with graffiti on them. when it looks good. that simple shit is retarded. you know what i mean. when it is just simple sloppy spray of "so and so sucks" or "bob was here" or some shit like that... if your going to do that make it look cool. like that 'graffiti' style writing is so cool.
