“I was disturbed that the hiphop generation embraced the principles of the Nation..."
something to read for the clowns who promote Islam here all the time, posting bullshit about it being an "official religion of hiphop", being peaceful, the answer to everything and all the other stuff that makes rational thinking people fall off their chairs.

To be fair they're talking about the "unofficial religion of hiphop", but you do have a point. I was somewhat disappointed however at the length of the article.

You begin saving the world by saving one man at a time; all else is grandiose romanticism or politics.

Quote:To be fair, the Nation of Islam was there for them when the Black Panther Party was not, because it had been destroyed.

it hard to join an organization that requires the cia to kill you fiirst.....

its the same shit every where any secular radicals are murderd and hunted down.
while the religious nuts are kept safe and sound.
and then any radical is immediately associated with a religion instead of politics and policies.

Nice try kid. Next time, you might look a bit more intelligent if you actually read what it is that you are referencing.

Quote:At the time, I was disturbed that the hip-hop generation embraced the principles of the Nation of Islam as opposed to the Black Panther Party. To be fair, the Nation of Islam was there for them when the Black Panther Party was not, because it had been destroyed.

Also, before you call people out subliminally, it might help your argument if you actually researched the topic. For instance, knowing the difference between The Nation of Islam and Islam. They're 2 different religious beliefs, by the way. Before you claim to be all "rational", maybe some actual fact checking is in order? I don't know, that's just me, but I guess my judgement is just clouded by that ridiculous thing called "logic". I mean, how could anyone claim that the Quran promotes peace, unity, justice, righteousness, respect, logical deduction, unity, piety, and all those other things that make people laugh so hard that they fall off their chairs? Right?
